Don't forget to register for the Spring Ceremony for graduating students!

Every year, the IT Faculty and its two departments organise a Spring Ceremony to celebrate all the programme students who will finish their studies during the spring semester. The event is divided into two - one event in the morning and one in the afternoon, depending on what programme you belong to.

If your are in the last semester of your education, please don't forget to register for the Spring Ceremony!

 

The Spring Ceremony is for students finishing their programme studies at any of the departments:

  • Computer Science and Engineering
  • Applied Information Technology

The Spring Ceremony is framed by speeches and music and the students enter the stage to meet their programme managers who want to say goodbye and thank you for this time. After the ceremony there is a reception in the foyer, where refreshments will be served.

Invitation

An invitation with a link to registration for the event has in March been sent by e-mail to all programme students at the IT Faculty who are finishing their last semester. (Contact information below if you have not received the e-mail with the invitation!)

Last day for registration: 12 May

Please note! If you want to attend the ceremony, it is very important to register. The programme managers will call out the names of all students who have registered and welcome them up on stage.

The University Assembly Hall

The ceremony is held in the University Assembly Hall in the main University building, Vasaparken, Universitetsplatsen 1.

Ceremony programme:

The morning ceremony starting at 10 am:

  •   Systemvetenskap (BSc)
  •   Datavetenskapligt program (BSc)
  •   Computer Science (MSc)
  •   Digital Leadership (MSc)
  •   Kognitionsvetenskap (BSc)

The afternoon ceremony starting at 2 pm:

  •   Software Engineering and Management (BSc)
  •   Software Engineering and Management (MSc)
  •   Lärande, kommunikation och IT (Magister)
  •   Game Design & Technology (MSc)
  •   Master in Communication (MSc)
  •   Applied Data Science (MSc)
